HCS HYDRAULIC CRUSHING SYSTEM
GI IMPACT CRUSHER TECHNOLOGY
HCS is an electro-hydraulic system that checks and adjusts continuously all the machine components, in particular the crusher functions, aprons setting and safety. The HCS system provides the power that the crusher needs, it adjust the CSS with the big cylinders behind the aprons (for a constant output size) and it gives the consent to open the aprons when there is an un-crushable object inside the crushing chamber. Each cylinder is connected with an hydraulic accumulator and a pressure switch and in the bottom of the cylinder there is a max valve.
When an un-crushable material is introduced in the impact chamber, the hydraulic accumulator absorb the pressure peak and the apron can open slightly (the hydraulic accumulator works as a spring). If the pressure in the cylinder rise over the pressure setted with the max valve pressure, the bottom of the cylinder will be opened and the apron will then move to allow the discharge of the un-crushable piece. At the same time, the pressure switch shut down the hydraulic utilities, except the main conveyor belt to prevent clogging under the impact crusher rotor.
